The Education Officer is a key member of the Research, Analytics and Education team that seeks to educate
and influence positive change in Australian workplaces by:
practice groups, education events, managing logistics and attendees through the Agency’s customer
relationship management system.

The Research, Analytics and Educations team purpose is to identify evidence-based, data-led research
opportunities from data analysis and partnerships to inform focus areas and ensure innovation and best
practice in relation to gender equality across the Agency.
The Education Officer is responsible for the production and promotion of education resources such as webinar
presentations, storyboards, website content, screencasts and employer guides and other relevant gender
equality resources. A key part of this role will be coordinating education events, roundtables and training
sessions and maintaining our community of practice groups. Strong interpersonal skills will be required to build
and maintain stakeholder relationships, with public sector organisations. The Education Officer will use their
sound education production knowledge to support and assess the effectiveness of the Agency’s educational
material across various channels.
Expected outcomes and accountabilities
This position reports to Research, Analytics and Education Executive Manager, typical duties to be
performed include:

Required Technical Skills

Selection Panel
A selection panel will be formed to consider all applications and to develop a shortlist of applicants for further
assessment. This assessment can take many forms but will usually include one or more face to face (or
video) interviews and may also include a short practical exercise.
Availability for interview
If you are shortlisted for an interview you can expect at least two days’ notice. If you are not short-listed for
interview, you will be notified in writing.
Interviews are planned to occur late-October with offers expected to be made within two weeks of
interview.
