The Wise River Club Hiring for Cook/Prep Cook at Wise River, Montana Full Time

Are you a Cook/Prep Cook who loves being in the kitchen as well as the outdoors?

The Wise River area in the Pioneer Mountains is one of the best-kept secrets in Montana. So, shhhhhh!  

Granite peaks topping 10,000 feet in elevation are to the east, and gentler, forested terrain stretches out to the west. You’ll experience mountain meadows, lodgepole pine forests and broad willow bottoms. Some of the best blue-ribbon trout fishing in the state can be found on the Big Hole River, which runs by the town of Wise River. People from all over the world come for the fishing. Here, in this part of Montana, you can touch the stars at night and hear the coyotes sing.

We’re looking for an experienced Cook/Prep Cook. Someone with an easy-going attitude who’s also willing to chip in wherever necessary. We’re busy so you need to enjoy the teamwork it takes to keep the Back of the House running smoothly and in sync with the Front of the House.

Wages are DOE. Tips are pooled at the end of each shift and split evenly with everyone on that shift. They generally range from $100 – $150 per shift, per person. 

Housing is a private one-room cabin with cooking facilities and a bathroom. Rent is $300 per month and includes utilities. (That’s $10 a day.) There’s wifi and Verizon cell reception. 

This position offers the possibility of year-round employment as we’re busy year-round.
