About the Role
Talent is, and will continue to be, a core strategic driver of The Wine Group’s ongoing transformation and continued success. If you are a passionate, results-driven, adaptable Talent Acquisition leader looking to have high level impact, this is the role for you. In this role, you will develop and execute a multi-year recruiting strategy to support The Wine Group’s diverse talent needs at all levels. You will lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to ensure we continue improving how we source, attract, hire, and onboard and integrate talent. You will be an integral part of ongoing cultural evolution.
Build and Execute the Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Collaborate with business leaders to design, build and execute a multi-year strategic hiring plan to attract diverse talent including talent sourcing, talent assessment, hiring processes, and recruiting operations.
- Lead and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, focused on continuing to grow our capabilities and add to our culture.
- Implement innovative sourcing, referral, and recruitment strategies that cultivate diversity, equity and inclusion to help The Wine Group meet and exceed our business objectives.
- Implement a consistent hiring experience ensuring that both candidates and hiring managers have a high-quality positive experience.
- Influence workforce and headcount planning with partner teams by leveraging analytics that tell a story and influences decision making on resource allocation.
- Develop, gain alignment on, publish, monitor, and leverage key metrics to drive performance of The Wine Group’s Talent Acquisition team’s effectiveness, including diversity and equity.
- Continuously improve our presence in the talent market, educating leaders on the current landscape and emerging external standard methodologies, and implementing strategic talent initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Own and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements across all geographies, including practices, processes, tracking and reporting.
- Work with our Performance and Development and Legal functions to develop and train hiring managers and interviewers on best practices for recruiting and interviewing candidates.

- Your Experience
- 10+ years of talent acquisition experience
- 5+ years of experience leading talent acquisition teams
- 3+ years of CPG (consumer packaged goods) and/or food and beverage industry recruiting experience preferred
- Experience hiring seasonal employees, interns, apprentices, non-exempt employees, and non-computer users
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and CRMs in both implementation and integration; Ceridian (Dayforce) preferred, but not required.
- Workforce planning familiarity, including collaborating with HR, Finance, Operations, and others to predict hiring volumes and capabilities needed to achieve goals
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required.
