Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role works within the Senior Leadership Team of the charity with a turnover of circa £10m, approximately 160 staff distributed throughout Yorkshire, along with a number of trainees and a significant volunteer community. The post holder will directly manage 2 members of staff, an HR and Training Assistant and the Executive Assistant, who supports the CEO, leadership team and Trustees. There are the expected aspects of HR compliance and reporting which are core to the role and we are looking to further develop our cultural development programme for the Trust to ensure we are a modern, inclusive and progressive workplace.
Essentially, we are seeking someone who has the ambition and drive to bring self-awareness and heart systematically into the workplace, proactively caring for staff and the experiences they have each day. We are looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys active engagement with people, working alongside them to help their careers flourish. The successful candidate will also be skilled at building relationships which enable the inevitable pressures which manifest for individuals and teams at work to be managed effectively and sensitively.
