Description of role:
We are currently seeking to expand our in-house software capability and two vacancies have arisen for role of software engineer. You will join a growing team supporting a number of software development activities including development of our next-generation ultrasonic and digital radiographic data acquisition and imaging software packages. The applications are highly interactive involving 3D graphics processing of large datasets with very low latency combined with the potential for artificial intelligence for use in both defect detection and classification. These technologies underpin TWI’s expertise in delivering inspection solutions for industries such as Aerospace, Wind, Rail, Nuclear, etc. covering advanced composites and other materials.
Travel:
This position may require regular travel both in the UK and abroad.
