The People & Talent Department located in Cardiff provides support services to the organisation. The department is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, Recruitment, Workforce & Learning and Development.
To provide excellent customer service as a first point of engagement with all stakeholders to resolve Talent Development Solutions and find appropriate solutions, assisting with the employee lifecycle from start date onwards, helping to develop a positive, caring and compliant work experience and culture of Wallich people at all stage of the employee lifecycle. The role is responsible for assessing the nature of enquiries received in, dealing with those that fall within the scope of the role whilst encouraging a self-service approach from customers, escalating those up that require input from our Talent Facilitators and Partner, whilst also providing a support service to the Talent Partner in delivering customer focused, psychologically informed solutions to our staffing teams across all Talent Development processes and procedures.
This role is subject to a Basic DBS check.

1. To engage with stakeholders to explore and achieve excellent customer focused, psychologically informed services and solutions, responding in an efficient and timely manger to ensure the quick resolution of minor issues, and ensuring that those that are of a more complex nature are escalated to the relevant Facilitator or Partner within the team.
2. To encourage all managers and people to access information, policy principles and guidance available on the Wallich intranet as ’self-service’ solutions
3. To help schedule our Talent Development programmes to staff throughout the organisation, across a range of media platforms, including, but not limited to, face-to-face classroom sessions, and other online content.
4. To administer all learning systems (including, but not limited to, the learning sections on our HR Information System and our eLearning system), responding to queries from staff and managers in relation to any of these systems and ensuring that training attendance records for all staff are up to date.
5. To be responsible for administrative tasks related to training delivery, including issuing of joining instructions, sign in sheets for events, and the production and distribution of training certificates for delegates post attendance. In addition to oversee the issue and timely return of training evaluation paperwork.
6. To support identified specialists across the organisation in their delivery of training events that they have been assigned in terms of venue bookings, confirmations and withdrawal of events.
7. To be an integral member of the People and Talent team, helping to build an integrated team ethos where we strive to be the best we possibly can be, and to act as a role model across all departments in living The Wallich values
