The Waldinger Corporation Hiring for Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Des Moines, IA Full Time

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader, is adding a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to our Corporate office! This position is part of The Waldinger Corporation Human Resources department and s up through the Talent Acquisition Manager.

The ideal Talent Acquisition Partner candidate will have experience recruiting exempt-level office professionals. Experience or exposure to construction or related industries (ie industrial, manufacturing) is a plus, as well as experience recruiting technical expertise or managerial or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to managers, analyzing talent needs, advising on current market status and growth strategies.
• Proactively source, recruit, engage and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for high-level and technical positions.
• Review and evaluate applications, resumes, skills assessments and other qualifying materials.
• Interview and assess applicants for position and company fit, making recommendations to managers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, trade associations and other area talent pipeline sources.
• Leverage social media, multiple network sources, online tools, industry relationships, and community involvement to identify top talent.
• Ensure compliant and effective recruitment practices.
• Train managers, as needed, on hiring processes and protocols as well as the Applicant Tracking System in Kronos (our HRIS).

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years experience overall recruiting experience
• Construction or related industry experience preferred
• 3+ years experience recruiting technical roles such as IT, drafting, engineering or project management is a plus
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience utilizing an ATS
• Must be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
• Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
• Able to take initiative, work independently and follow instructions with minimum supervision
• Working knowledge of employment law preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
