About the School/ Office
Fully accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council, The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Physiotherapy program provides comprehensive education across all required areas and specialised subjects allowing graduates to register as a physiotherapist. Students draw on and apply knowledge acquired in foundational courses to learn more specific clinical skills of assessment, clinical reasoning and management. These skills are applied and consolidated on clinical placements.
About the role/ Position Purpose
This position will provide administrative support to the Clinical Education Team and will be responsible for liaising with appropriate agencies to host students on clinical placement. The role will record expenditure, process contracts, maintain student records and manage the SONIA Clinical placement database. This position will report to the Director, Clinical Education with a dotted line reporting to the Head of Discipline, Physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the Clinical Education team and other staff within the School, as required;
• Processing general expenditure and clinical facility payments, documents and resource requests;
• Maintaining the Clinical Education running budget and preparing reports for Finance;
• Liaising with appropriate agencies regarding administrative requirements for students on clinical placement;
• Processing Clinical Supervisor and sessional academic contracts;
• Liaising with students in relation to notification of placement information and requirements;
• Maintaining student files and documentation; maintaining the SONIA Clinical Placement database; updating other databases like PSoft
• Coordinating the organisation and setup of Clinical Education workshops, and assisting in the organisation and setup of School functions and meetings as required;
• Contributing to the student marketing, admission, enrolment and reenrolment processes;
• Providing assistance as required to ensure the School has administrative cover at all times throughout the day and during peak and vacation period; and
• Other duties as directed by Discipline Lead or Director Clinical Education.

Selection Criteria
Essential

• Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
• Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience, or completion of a Certificate IV with relevant work experience
• Previous experience providing general administrative assistance and support to a team including; processing general expenditure and payments; high level of proactive organizational skills.
• Demonstrated high-level communication skills with ability to engage and foster relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• High-level computer literacy and attention to detail with demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and Databases.

Desirable
6. Experience working in tertiary environment, preferably with SONIA Clinical placement software.
