The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace & Civil Engineering is looking to appoint a Grade 4 Student & Education Support Administrator.
We are seeking to recruit an administrator to provide ongoing day to day operational support to MSc programmes offered in the Department. This will involve providing support to the Programme Directors and students to deliver a high quality, customer-focused service. The successful candidates will assist in maintaining an effective enquiry office for all taught students, academic staff and visitors. They will assist with preparations and activities for programme specific events throughout the year. They will assist with a wide range of administrative tasks including student record maintenance, data entry and course unit selection. They will be required to service various committees and meetings assisting with the production of programme documentation and handbooks in line with University, School and Department guidelines.
The role will suit adaptable and self-motivated individuals with a good standard of education and good IT and communication skills. They will be self-motivated, able to work flexibly as part of a team, be well organised with the ability to meet deadlines.
You will be expected to have excellent administration skills and knowledge of the Higher Education environment would be an advantage.
