The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world’s largest law schools. Due to significant student growth at the ULaw Online Campus, we are looking to recruit two Academic Managers to join us on our exciting journey.
Working as part of the academic management team and with the leadership and guidance of the Head of Tutors, you will be responsible for the management and development of a team of Tutors and Academic Associates to enhance the student experience by ensuring high quality teaching and making effective use of staff resource. You will also continue to teach.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about, and has experience of, online education, people management and who believe that developing a highly motivated and satisfied team will enhance the student experience. We are keen to hear from applicants who are excited about using technology to do that, enjoy working in a remote setting and who would like to develop their management skills with us.
For this role you will need to have an interest in people management, particularly concerning motivation and development. Equally important is the ability to achieve targets and goals as required by both campus and strategic objectives. Further specific role responsibilities are set out in the job description.
ULaw Online campus staff are home-based with a requirement to occasionally attend one of our campuses for meetings and training when required.
