Position Summary:
University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of Bioengineering is seeking an Engineering Associate for our Inpatient team who, under minimal supervision, completes a variety of medical equipment repairs, safety verification and preventive maintenance tasks on a broad range of patient care equipment and/or systems of moderate complexity. Serves as the front-line customer contact for assigned departments and completes assigned projects and installations according to manufacturer or regulatory requirements.

Salary: $55,000 to commensurate

Education Required
A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, or other related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
