Exciting opportunity to manage the Capital Program project accounting

Candidates with the following Facilities Infrastructure experience should apply.

The University is seeking an exceptional Senior Project Accountant with extensive experience and robust infrastructure services and project life costing expertise. The Senior Project Accountant will deliver clear, concise programme budget management reports, including internal and external funded project reports (often Federal and State), cash flow reporting and performance against a c$50Mpa budget, proficient in analysing project variations and the ability to report, interrogate and provide advice to Infrastructure Branch Senior Management on the forecast/budget outcomes.

Previous experience working with Service Provider contracts and associated operating and discretionary budgets and reporting will be highly desirable.

To be successful you will need:

• Strong knowledge of finance related standards and legislation.
• Experience in financial management of capital projects, including strong financial modelling.
• Demonstrated high level Microsoft Excel / modelling and analytic skills.
• Experience in the provision of high-quality financial accounting services including project accounting and reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and budget.
