Under new leadership, you will report to the Executive Director of Human Resources and be part of a newly formed leadership team that will enable you to be an architect of change across a workforce of over 6,000 employees, creating a positive impact to thousands of careers by supporting the University to articulate the Employee Value Proposition and position the University to achieve its aspiration to be a magnet for talent. You will be responsible for setting the operational and strategic direction for a team charged with designing and delivering talent acquisition strategies and services.

Knowledge and experience required to be successful in role:

• Post-Graduate qualifications in HR Management, Business Management, or a relevant field partnered with Executive experience within a complex organisation
• Successful implementation of enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition strategy
• Proven track record in leading, coaching, motivating and building a high-performing team of professionals
• Ability to engage, partner with and influence Senior Managers and Executives
• Demonstrated success in driving change across an organisation to build a talent acquisition service and offer an effective and compelling Hiring Manager and candidate experience
• Extensive and contemporary working knowledge of best practice and trends with respect to talent acquisition/recruitment/hiring practices
• A sound understanding of the use of future-focused information technology to support business processes and process change management, including talent acquisition systems
