The U Group, LLC Hiring for Logistics Dispatcher at Lebanon, PA Full Time

• Responsible for scheduling trucks / trucking routes in support of the company’s manufacturing operations
• Work closely with log buyers, forestry department, suppliers, and fleet maintenance teams to ensure efficient use of company trucks and trailers
• Generates Daily Driver Schedule
• Schedules staff to meet workload requirements and reviews schedules to ensure adequate coverage is in place
• Utilize GPS system
• Work closely with fleet maintenance to ensure vehicles are ready to run
• Controls inquires regarding pickups, deliveries, and ETAs
• Conducts ride along’s / s of drivers
• Checks returning drivers/conducts driver audits. Monitors driver logs. Makes sure driver training is completed and recorded
• Works closely with the operations to ensure department is running in a professional and efficient manner
• Ensure company policies, procedures, morals, ethics, etc are being followed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

• CDL A: 1 year (Required)
