Job Title and Description

Part-time Bookkeeper.
To assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organisational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Reporting to
The Nominated Member of the Management Committee – (currently the Treasurer Sandra Allen)
Main Responsibilities
· Balance and maintain the company’s accounting system (currently ‘Xero’)

· Process sales invoices, receipts and payments

· Match purchase orders with invoices

· Checking company bank statements and reconciling with invoices, receipts and EPOSNOW data.

· Ensuring accounts are up-to-date to enable VAT and other company returns can be made promptly.

Part-time hours: 2.5 per week

Expected start date: 25/10/2021

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00-£10.10 per hour
