Staff Accountant for Captive Management firm located in Towson, MD.

Staff Accountant Duties Include:

Accounts Payable
Tracking Payments/balances
Coordination with other Staff Accountants on shared data
Full Responsibility for General Ledger of assigned companies
Assisting with Investment Calculation, reserve commutation calculations and other calculations.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible work experience
Knowledge and experience with Intuit Quickbooks
Team player
High attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with insurance accounting desirable
Ability to work from home.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $59,000.00 per year
