Our client is a well known financial services company seeking a Junior Desktop Support Engineer to come on board and join their team. Preferably a Vic Based candidate due to potential requirement to be office based.
Job Requirements:
- Coordinate the procurement, distribution and return of Work from Home equipment including monitor, keyboard, mouse and docking station.
- Understanding of the technologies (both physical and software) connecting Work from Home equipment to laptop.
- Ability to follow and improve processes including procurement and logistics for pick-up/drop-off.
- Coordination of and management stock levels.
- Cleaning and sanitising of returned equipment
- Follow audit process ensuring distributed and returned stock is update in the asset database.
- Understand the organisations service level agreements and the need to effectively prioritise calls to ensure operational efficiency.
- Basic IT Administration maintenance.
- May provide input into process improvement and escalate reoccurring problems.
- Follow up and provide feedback to customers as per service level agreements.
- Friendly and a good customer-centric attitude
