We have an amazing opportunity for a Graduate Software Developer to work on our world-leading Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre asset management system Otracom. Developed by Otraco and installed in over 80 operational sites worldwide, Otracom is an internationally recognised Tyre Management System (TMS). Providing a comprehensive, real-time solution for managing tyres, rims and chains fitted to heavy vehicles, Otracom integrates with tyre-pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), fleet management and ERP systems.

The role

As the software developer, you will be working as part of our small DevOps Agile team, working across a variety of cloud and mobile based applications for our site based service personnel. You will be developing and writing clean, high quality code as you transform our web and mobile applications to the latest application frameworks. Responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, test and deploy code for our roadmap of new features
• Identify and continuously improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable
• Support and resolve issues in our proprietary tyre asset management system Otracom
• Work collaboratively with the digital technology team to ship great products
• Take pride in seeing projects and user stories through to successful completion
• Uphold best practices in coding, security, and design
• Ensure user interfaces are cross-browser compatible, mobile responsive and smooth for the end-user
• Write clean and efficient code based on specifications and prototypes
• Contribute to both our technical and product roadmaps

About you:

To be successful you will ideally have a tertiary degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering qualification. You will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience developing with both AngularJS and Angular frameworks
• Experience developing with .Net C# or Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience using software development methods and tools (e.g. Agile, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
• Experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure would be highly advantageous
• Experience using BI tools and low code development platforms is desirable
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
