The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst works as part of a team of Analysts to deliveraccurate, timely,informativeandcompliant management reportingand insight,as well asbudgeting and forecasting for SA PowerNetworksforpresentation to leaders and managers in the business.TheAnalysts each support a specific area of the business, working closely with Business Relationship Managementto achieve high quality reporting andinsights,and timely and accurate budgets and forecasts.
This opportunity is being offered by way of 12month fixed term contract.
Key objectives of the role include.

Manage month-end-processes to deliver on accurate, timely reportingand partner with Business Relationship Management to preparecommentary and insights.

Partner with Business Relationship Managementtocoordinate and preparethe annual CapitalandOperating budgets as part of the annual financial planning process.

Partner with Business Relationship Managementtomanage the forecastingprocess andproduce timely and accurate forecasts for presentation tomanagement.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial management systems and reporting in line with business needs.

Contribute to the streamlining and simplification of processes and procedures.

Provide support to theFP&AManagerin the provision of sound financial analysis, reporting and insight to support the achievement of business unit commercialandstrategicobjectives.
What you will need

Tertiary Qualification in accounting, data science or information management
-
Extensive knowledge of financial systems, data and analytics
-
Demonstrated experience of applying insights to drive business performance, using analytics to influence trends and
-
improve assumptions underpinning long term business planning
-
Demonstrated experience using data analytic software and tools
-
Working knowledge of accounting standards

7.5-hourday (37.5 hourweek) plus flexi time

1% additional super based on current industry standard rate
