About the Company
I am partnering with a reputable industry leading organisation seeking a Financial Accountant to join their high performing finance team for an immediate start 12 month fixed term contract with a view to permanency. This business has an excellent workplace culture and offer flexible work arrangements to their employees.

About the Position
Reporting to a highly supportive Finance Manager with a dotted line to the CFO, this is an excellent development opportunity as you will gain exposure to a wide variety of activities and become an instrumental member of the team from the outset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports.
• Build strong working relationships with the commercial team and other business groups to ensure consistent high quality accounting and finance practices.
• Assist with reconciliations (bank, inventory, general ledger).
• Prepare and process monthly journals as required, including provisions and accruals.
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
• Support process improvement initiatives across the finance team.

About You
You will be at least part qualified CA / CPA qualified with minimum of three years of industry experience in a Financial Accountant role. You will be forward-thinking with a capacity and desire to support peers in the wider team and possess excellent oral and written communication. You will ideally be available to commence employment in early January 2021 and available to interview next week.
