This role will suit a motivated high-performer that is looking for an exciting commercial role in banking. You will be supported by a fantastic finance team to ensure continued development. This opportunity is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of financial services looking to make their first move from a chartered environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of the annual report as well as contribution towards the Group’s consolidated financial statements
  • Preparation of Board Papers and strategic technical accounting memos
  • Delivery of the regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ownership and delivery of financial control and general ledger maintenance, including balance sheet recs and financial accounting
  • Management accounting and performance analysis
  • Various strategic project initiatives

You will:

  • Be CA/CPA qualified or equivalent (or working towards this your accounting qualification)
  • Have a strong understanding of financial services, ideally banking
  • Have a proven knowledge of financial reporting and control
  • Be a self-starter with a desire for learning
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have an analytical approach to problem solving
