Our client is an established health promotion charity, which works to build community and private partnerships to raise vital funds and awareness for the continued development of health promotion, research, education, equipment, facilities, and special projects.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the operational and strategic management of finance and payroll (including salary packaging). This will include responsibility for reporting, P&L, balance sheet processing, adhoc receivable invoicing, cash management as banking administrator, monthly bank reconciliations and BAS returns, managing relations with the ATO, control of all data entry including accounts payable, management of Trust Accounts, and Audit responsibility and preparation of the annual report.
This is a newly created role and will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. The Finance Manager is responsible for collaborating with the organisation developing a strong understanding of reporting, analysis, and budgeting frameworks delivering decision-making tools in a complex environment.
A primary objective for this role is embedding digital finance and payroll systems and processes to ensure effective and efficient financial management of our client through the provision of timely financial advice and reports.
Ideally, you will be Degree qualified in accounting, commerce or finance and have at least 5 years professional finance management (or equivalent) experience, preferably in the NFP sector. You will also be familiar with Xero, Fundraising, and/or Stripe and experienced with extracting web based donations.
