This company is a leading distributor within FMCG and has experienced significant growth over recent years. The are embarking on a new manufacturing venture and are looking for a switched on, well-spoken and highly intelligent Commercial Finance Analyst. You will be partnering with their operations, sales, supply chain, and manufacturing team. They have a vibrant culture, and youll be working with leaders that recognise and reward their performing team with annual salary reviews and internal promotions.

Reporting to the CFO, the position will play a key role to manage the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of the group. The role provides data and insights across the broader team, partnering with supply chain and commercial teams to assist with strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial reporting, month end processes and the forecasting function of the group
• Prepare and coordinate budgets for the business
• Provide analysis of promotional activity, sales mix, discount models and trade matrix of existing and new business
• Support the manufacturing unit with bill of materials, overhead analysis, and reviewing business processes
• Support the finance team with key balance sheet reconciliations applicable to the role
• Assist the commercial leaders of the business with initiatives from original concept through to implementation

To be considered for this role you will be CA/CPA qualified, a solid foundation in financial accounting or Big4 / Mid-tier. Experience with a tangible product / consumer goods environment highly desirable. You will be technically savvy, confident, analytically minded with a proven track record of driving process efficiencies in your business. You will have clear communication, be self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail.
