COMPANY

This is a data analytics consultancy that has been developing and delivering solutions to its clients for over 18 years in various industries like Government, engineering, telecommunications, retail, financial services, and mining. They provide consulting services like design, build, deployment & testing.

They also deliver projects for their clients across business intelligence, data warehousing, data management, reporting, analytics, data migration, marketing analytics, and applications development.

They are a small team of 15, experienced, and highly cooperative working in a hybrid (onsite, offsite) model.

ROLE

As a developer you will be upgrading existing code to the latest development environments, developing solutions for medium/complex requirements, change release activities, and working in an agile software development environment.

We are looking for someone who can design data models, translate them to physical data models and implement them using SQL Database, and can also develop and maintain web-based UI using ReactJS, CSS, and HTML.

You should be able to update and maintain the existing export certification system for a uniform user experience and architect softwares based on service-oriented and event-driven architectures. You will be managing and engaging with business and technical stakeholders as required.

The developer will be responsible for internal system-to-system and B2G integration so youll need to develop SOAP and REST web services. You will be producing and maintaining detailed design artifacts & technical specifications.

YOU

• Strong skills required in C++, Centura, SQL Server, C#, middleware and UI, WCF, WFP, Web services, Windows services, XML, SSL, encryption, signing, electronic document exchange, DevOps, Azure & cloud technologies
• The ability to engage well with stakeholders, and work in a collaborative manner to share knowledge with team members and stakeholders
• A strong experience of agile software development and change release activities for developing medium to complex solutions is essential
• The ability to upgrade existing code, provide clear and comprehensive system documentation
• The ability to quickly pick up abstract concepts and assist with troubleshooting issues arising from operational incidents
• Similar role experience preferably in IT/Federal Government is desirable (not essential)
