The Staffing Group Hiring for Analyst (Finance) Job at Sydney Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team in Sydney on a permanent basis.

As the Finance Analyst, you will provide accurate and timely analysis reporting and forecasting information, maintain a commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability and contribute to building a high performing and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and analyse overall Village reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis for operations teams to track to forecast.
• Review, analyse and oversee the preparation of Village Financial Statements in accordance with Retirement Village Acts.
• Review and analyse forecasts and budgets including analysis of risks and opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide insights and trend analysis to key relationships in a timely and proactive manner.
• Manage the external audit process of the Village Financial Statements.
• Manage preparation and review of the annual Village budget and reports, ensuring reports comply with legislation standards and provide key insights to enhance the Village Operations team delivery.
• Ensure compliance with audit, tax and other regulations including Retirement Villages Acts for all States.

What are we looking for?

• Appropriate tertiary qualification(s) is required.
• Analytical focused roles in Finance or Accounting.
• CA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
• Experience in SAP and proficient in Excel.
• Ability to juggle multiple demands.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Organized and attention to details.
