The role:
As the Manager, you will provide support to the Accounting team in the day-to-day accounting function of the business along with completing reporting and management of all accounting and finance departments. Responsibilities are as follows:

• Manage client portfolios
• Prepare compliance work
• Manage the lodgement process for clients
• Support, develop and supervise staff
• Review staff work
• Manage the overall productivity of the team
• Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.

About you:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. Commerce degree
• Progression toward CA or CPA
• Proven experience in a public practice
• Sound knowledge of Australian Tax Law
• Ability to work under pressure
• Highly organised individual
• The ability to multitask and prioritise various projects simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner
• Proficient with financial software
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
