The Staffing Alliance is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to join our team. Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment, multi – task, and work in a team environment with little instruction. Must have strong computer skills and have strong organizational skills.

This position works directly with Recruiters to provide additional support.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for answering, screening, and transferring inbound calls to appropriate person, documenting the system, and taking messages.
• Responsible for checking office voicemail, documenting messages in database, and providing message to appropriate person.
• Responsible for tracking candidate availability and assisting in scheduling candidates for interviews.
• Responsible for greeting visitors and directing to appropriate person.
• Responsible for assisting applicants with application process to support recruiting, screening, and placement efforts by utilizing company established processes.
• Responsible for managing the flow of candidates during daily hiring events to include candidate check in, communication on wait time, and assisting in limiting wait time.
• Responsible for sourcing for candidates and scheduling interviews based on daily goals and customer needs.
• Responsible for job marketing in the community to include flyer distribution, social media posts, and assisting recruitment efforts by attending and participating in various job fairs.
• Responsible for supporting recruitment efforts, both remote and local, by scheduling interviews, forwarding potential candidates, and assisting in screening and placement of employees as needed.
• Responsible in supporting the placement of employees to include assisting in and /or conducting orientations as needed.
• Responsible for creating and updating recruiting s.
• Responsible for completing candidate screening.
• Responsible for contacting applicants to discuss and/or ensure screening documents are completed as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma; Valid Driver’s License

Experience: One year of Human Resources experience. Two years of Customer Service experience or Data Entry preferred.

Skills / Abilities: Professional appearance and excellent communication skills. Strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
