Junior Software Engineer

Job description

We are looking for smart, ambitious and inquisitive people to join the Software Institute’s Junior Workday, Oracle or RPA Engineer training programme to start on 1stAugust 2022

Upon joining you will participate in our remote, fast-track and paid up to 12 week training programme You will learn the core foundational consultant skills to building up a repertoire of key skills needed to design and create Databases in MySQL as well as applications within Python. You will move onto learning the fundamentals of software testing. Finally, the training will focus on upskilling you in Workday, Oracle or RPA

During the training period, based on your technical aptitude and skillset, we will determine whether you go down the RPA, Workday or Oracle route.

The Software Institute will continue to support you as you start your first consulting placement onsite with The Software Institute’s end client in Bradford.

Although this role is advertised in Leeds, candidates must be able to relocate or commute to Bradford office.

Salary and benefits

• Starting salary of £18,000 during training, and rising to £24,000 on your first client placement

Accepted degree subjects – Any, as long as you have exposure to either Python, C++, C# or Java
