Job Overview : A well-established dental group practice is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department and oversee our full-cycle recruiting.
At The Smilist, we’re always looking to strengthen the organization by adding the best available people to our staff. Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events.
Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments. Key Responsibilities : Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interview Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind Source potential candidates through online channels (e.
g. social platforms and professional networks) Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews Assess candidate information, including resumes and contract details, using our Applicant Tracking System Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department / location Minimum Work Experience and Education : 1-2 years proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field Professional credential, such as HR Certification Institute Compensation and Benefits : Competitive compensation Hybrid Working Environment Medical, Dental & Vision coverage Company-sponsored 401(k) savings plans with Employer Match Annual Performance and Merit Increase Program Paid vacation and holidays Powered by JazzHR
