Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Hybrid

About the role:
One of the main purposes of this role is to actively contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality education and training for all Learners studying with The Skills Network.

Main duties will include:
  • Effective implementation of The Skills Network teaching, assessment, marking and feedback standards within all areas ensuring consistency across all Learners
  • Oversee the delivery of functional skills at L1 and L2 via virtual classrooms and 1:1 dedicated support
  • Review and develop learning resources as part of standardisation meeting activities with our Curriculum and Quality Leads and assist with the running of these
  • Prepare Learners for functional skills exams, including speaking and listening assessments and carry these out where appropriate to meet awarding body requirements
  • Work to tight deadlines and KPIs to ensure functional skills are achieved timely to prevent delays in apprenticeship completion.

About you:
You will be a passionate and ambitious individual who is not only a subject expert within Functional Skills, you will also be committed to the delivery of high-quality education within your subject area.

You will also hold relevant assessing, verifying and teaching qualifications and have practical experience of assessing, verifying and teaching either in a classroom environment or through distance learning.
