The Role
The Apprenticeships+ faculty are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Functional Skills English tutor to plan and deliver innovative, engaging and motivational intensive learning sessions to our apprentices across a range of vocational areas, in a variety of settings including the workplace, to help develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours.
Our large, vibrant and diverse Further Education College has four main campuses located across Sheffield. We are proud of our work with employers and how we are meeting local skills needs and transforming lives through learning.
Ideally, you will have experience of teaching Functional Skills English to apprentices including levels 1 & 2 Functional Skills. Knowledge and experience of SEN (Special Educational Needs) support, teaching English as a foreign language, teaching entry level Functional Skills or the ability to teach maths and digital skills would be a definite advantage.
