Description

The Special Education Teacher communicates and plans with general education staff in order to provide differentiation, interventions, accommodations, and/or modification in order for special education students to demonstrate success in the general education curriculum to the highest extent possible. The Special Education Teacher will serve as a resource to staff in the areas of academic intervention as well as behavioral support and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required;
• Certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in one of the following areas is required.
• Cross Categorical Special Education (Preferred)
• Intellectual Disabilities
• Learning Disabilities
• Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities
