Seeking a dynamic and energetic person who does not mind the repetitive processing through systems and equally ready to jump and support their team with any challenge it faces. This is the key quality of the Purchasing Assistant we are seeking.

Types of Tasks:

• management of a shared Inbox – assigning and follow-up of tasks
• e-filing critical supplier/contract information
• managing short lead time purchases
• following up overdue supplier invoices
• managing on onsite consumables ordering
• contribute to the management of LCL & FCL shipment bookings
• managing credit requests
• matching supplier invoice with delivery dockets

Experience:

Essential – Proficient in the use of purchasing, inventory and accounting based systems – we use an enterprise system called INFOR (please research and ensure you feel capable to use this system).

Desirable – A similar role in an industrial manufacturing organisation with 2-3 years of consistent work history in this type of role.

Desirable – Experience in using Netstock – an inventory management system.

Qualifications:

Any relevant qualification in purchasing, finance, account or administration would be desirable, but not essential to be considered for the role. Demonstrated practical experience is equally well-regarded.

Full-time role and work hours between 800am-500pm.

Salary: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
