Our well-established and aspirational HR Team is looking for an experienced and proactive HR professional with a passion for people, to join one of our regional teams as an HR Advisor.
The world of work has changed, and it is an exciting time to get involved in the delivery of our People Strategy. In this pivotal role you will provide HR support to a dedicated area, ensuring the consistent delivery of HR strategy, initiatives and policies, by educating and empowering local managers.
You will be self-sufficient, have collaborative skills and an innovative mindset. Reporting to the HR Business Partner and as our customer-focused, driven and resilient HR Advisor, you will support a culture of accountability, engagement and exemplary performance.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Experience of employee relations casework such as grievance, TUPE, disciplinary and capability
A talent for HR training
Experience of successfully advising and coaching line managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle
A gift for communication and building strong relationships
Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
Ability to work within the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army
