The Royal Sydney Golf Club is a prestigious Sporting and Hospitality private members club which was founded in 1893. The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager you will be part of a team that is focused on building a values-based culture and ensuring the Club’s purpose of “delivering exceptional experiences for staff, members and guests” is delivered throughout the employee’s lifecycle. The role primarily assists and supports the HR team by providing administrative activities and delivering HR services to the highest of standards, partnering closely with department managers. There is a key focus in the role on maintaining HR systems, data accuracy and the employee experience.

Responsibilities include:

• HR administration across all touch points of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, training enrolment/reporting, including creation of new starter packs, onboarding, ordering of name badges, coordination of lockers, ordering of uniforms, assist with booking group induction sessions and tours and offboarding tasks related to HR record maintenance.
• Coordinate the Apprenticeships program and claim apprenticeship incentives.
• Produce a variety of HR letters. Maintain HR files in order, scanning documents into files as required. Coordination of confidential and time-sensitive material.
• Assist with coordination of annual flu and skin checks for staff.
• Competent user of the Recruitment Management System and Learning Management System and provide support to managers as needed.

What does the Club need from me?

• The role is 2 – 3 days per week, days negotiable and start times flexible. Would suit a student of HR, Business Administration or recent Graduate or someone with a Bachelor Degree with desire to work part time.
• Previous experience in HR administration is highly desirable.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
• Desire and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and comfortable with crossover of tasks.
