The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Hiring for Assistant Financial Accountant Job at Chelsea, England Full Time

Reporting into the trust Financial Accountant and accountable to the Finance Director of RM Medicines Ltd, you will make a real impact by providing an efficient Financial Accounting function, and responsibilities regarding RM Medicines Ltd and VAT, and other selected control accounts. You will lead in the preparation of financial information for the monthly financial reporting and year-end statutory accounts for the Trust and RM Medicines Ltd.

To assist the Financial Accountant in providing an efficient Financial Accounting function, responsibilities regarding RM Medicines Ltd and VAT, and other selected control accounts.

To assist in the preparation of financial information for the monthly balance sheet reports and year-end statutory accounts for the Trust and RM Medicines Ltd.

• To lead on the entire month end process for RM Medicines Ltd

including the WOS consolidation in the Trust accounts.

• To produce the monthly, quarterly and year-end Finance reports for

RM Medicines Ltd.

• To manage RM Medicines Ltd’s Balance Sheet and I&E.
• To prepare balance sheet, cash flow and income & expenditure

forecasts, and other forecasts as required.

• To assist senior team in the preparation of business cases for RM

Medicines Ltd.

• To lead on business planning for RM Medicines Ltd.
• To prepare RM Medicines Ltd’s statutory accounts and prepare

information for statutory audit.

• To liaise with HMRC, complete tax forms and liaise with tax advisors.
• To perform regular bank account reconciliations.
• To ensure that Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions are

adhered to.

• To support with the preparation of financial presentations for budget

holders and the subsidiary Board.

• To act as a key point of contact in the Finance Department for

stakeholders in the pharmacy team and external stakeholders.
