You’ll be an experienced, hands-on volume Recruiter who is used to operating at a variety of levels, from either an in-house or agency background. Passionate and self-motivated, you’ll be a strong collaborator, as adept at managing expectations as you are at generating improved attraction and selection methodologies in a highly competitive market. Role Profile

• Provide strategic direction to business leaders in relation to talent acquisition, working closely with the People Partners to effectively implement the Talent Acquisition Strategy and ensure the Group attracts, recruits, and retains the right people with the right capability to deliver business objectives now and in the future.
• Ensure talent acquisition campaigns are effectively planned, delivered, and evaluated within cost, quality, and timescales.
• Partner an assigned business area, or multiple business areas as required, building effective relationships with senior leaders and People Partners to define talent acquisition requirements and influence and shape people strategies, ensuring alignment to the overall Group People Strategy and Corporate Plan.
• Provide talent acquisition insight, expertise and coaching to business leaders and recruiting managers, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure strategic, high profile and high-risk talent acquisition issues are dealt with confidentially and effectively to achieve required business outcomes.
• Support the Head of Talent Acquisition in the development, implementation, and regular review of the Group Talent Acquisition Strategy, ensuring the Group attracts, recruits, and retains the right people with the right capability to effectively deliver business objectives.
• Ensure the Group Talent Acquisition Strategy, and underpinning frameworks and policies are fully embedded and adhered to within assigned business areas, challenging non-compliance when required.
• Lead the development, monitoring, and continual review of business area talent acquisition plans, ensuring requirements are built into People Services delivery plans, and resources are mobilised to deliver recruitment and selection exercises and campaigns to cost, quality and timescales.
• Promote a diverse workforce, ensuring a values-based recruitment process is carried out and equality standards are maintained throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle. Contribute to the development of diversity targets where applicable and embed in associated talent acquisition strategies, frameworks, and processes.

• Develop bespoke marketing strategies in line with business area specific requirements, including maximising digital and ensuring implementation of consistent employer branding to effectively source candidates and promote the Group as an employer of choice.
• Oversee talent acquisition activity for assigned business areas, providing insight, expertise, coaching and training to business leaders and People Services colleagues, ensuring all activity is carried out effectively and in a consistent and compliant manner.
• Contribute to the development of the Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence, to continually improve the Group’s talent acquisition capability including embedding best practice and providing direction, expertise and coaching as required.
• Develop Talent Acquisition service level agreements in partnership with business leaders and People Services colleagues, identifying and implementing associated key performance indicators to enable monitoring of and reporting on Talent Acquisition service delivery, feeding back underperformance as required.
• Analyse people analytics gaining insight into issues, trends, areas for improvement and best practice, presenting findings and recommendations to key stakeholders including senior leaders, ensuring robust action plans are developed and monitored to address ongoing issues.
• Maintain industry knowledge and expertise, keeping abreast of talent acquisition developments and best practice, identifying opportunities to contribute to and shape future decision making.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, including business leaders, providing talent acquisition advice and support, and building constructive working relationships to effectively deliver the Group Talent Acquisition Strategy and overall People Strategy.
• Ensure continuous improvement of the service, collaborating with and seeking feedback from key stakeholders to continually improve the service provision. Improvement opportunities identified and realised should be in accordance with change management protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the People Services leadership team to ensure effective delivery of the wider service.
• Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service.
• Ensure that all information security requirements, including data protection, are met in accordance with the Group’s policy, procedures, and statutory requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential

• Demonstrable experience of delivering a customer focussed volume talent acquisition/recruitment service at a strategic and operational level
• Experience of working in recruitment either in-house or working for an agency
• Experience of managing and running large volume recruitment campaigns
• Proven ability to think and plan strategically, shape volume talent acquisition campaigns and deliver to agreed timelines.
• Proven track record of Talent Acquisition Partnering within a medium to large, complex organisation.
• Evidence of using a range of cost-effective media channels for sourcing the best talent with experience of managing social media campaigns.
• Experience of successfully developing selection materials and facilitating assessment centres and decision making for a range of levels and roles.
• Evidence of managing external Recruitment Agencies.
• Proven experience of working with applicant tracking systems including extracting MI.
• Comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to the recruitment process.
• Evidence of analysing people metrics, including evaluating talent acquisition campaigns, developing recommendations for improvement.
• Evidence of effective stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation, including the ability to successfully persuade and influence others.
• Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels within the business
• Resilient and highly organised with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work at pace and prioritise own workload
• Results driven with strong analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyse complex information, and experience of providing meaningful management information.
