POSITION SUMMARY
Pier One Sydney Harbour is Sydney’s leading lifestyle hotel, designed for experience seekers, built over the water on Sydney Harbour. Fuelled by our love of the hyperlocal, Pier One is home to 189 designer rooms and suites, Sydney’s leading event venues, awarded restaurant The Gantry, and vibrant pier with waterside bar and dining offerings.
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Receiving Team Leader to join the talented Pier One Sydney Harbour team.
Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Supervisor, core work activities include:
- Maintain the general store supplies on a FIFO
- Participates in monthly stock take
- Ensure cleaning schedule for receiving area is prepared and enforced
- Verify item requisitions
- Update all issued and received supplies in the stock registers
- Prepare a list of invoices submitted to Accounts Payable
- Forward invoices with supporting documents, along with the daily receiving report for received items to Accounts Payable for payment processing
- Identify stock for disposal or re-sale
