The Right Staff Hiring for HR Coordinator – Contract Full Time

THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with an innovative leader in advertising and marketing in their search for an HR Coordinator to join their team in a contract capacity. Ideal candidates must have 1+ year of experience in HR and general office administration, specifically in recruiting and hiring support.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for performing daily Human Resources and general office support tasks across various functional areas, including hiring and onboarding new employees, maintaining employment files and s, and contributing to a positive, productive work environment with collaboration and support from the Human Resources and Admin team.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process, verify and maintain personnel related documentation, including candidate management, personnel files, performance evaluations and records management.
• Provide talent acquisition support such as scheduling interviews, checking references, dispositioning candidates, running background s, e-verifying employment eligibility, posting job vacancies, and supporting ad hoc talent acquisition activities.
• Draft offer letters, promotion letters, and transfer letters for review and delivery.
• Collect, complete and process new employee paperwork.
• Ensure that the full-cycle employee processes are executed properly including new employee set up and departing employee exit processes, including equipment coordination as assigned.
• Provide back-up support for explaining company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
• Maintain and track payroll changes and audits.
• Maintain employee recognition records.
• Collaborate in idea generation and execution to enhance our awesome employee experience.
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks as assigned, such as organizing and maintaining the office copy stations and troubleshooting printer support; provide back-up support for company switchboard coverage.
• Provide back-up assistance to maintaining org chart files and expense s.
• Maintain accurate employment files and records, processing daily employee forms such as hires, transfers, status changes, terminations, etc.
• Work closely with a collaborative HR and Admin team and assist with special projects, including event planning and facilities management, as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices.

• Outstanding relationship management skills.
• Detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teammates, yet also independently with autonomy and good judgment, and handle highly confidential information with maturity and discretion.
• Demonstrated examples of flexibility and a friendly, winning attitude.
