Role: Rail Project Controls Manager

Location: Manchester / Hybrid model

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 Dependant on experience

The purpose of the role is to provide key services to a diverse array of clients and support the wider client business by the development and delivery of EVM, Change Control, Commercial Interface, and Reporting.

Working on Rail Civils & Construction projects the successful will be able to demonstrate: –

• Educated to degree‐level (or equivalent plus experience) with 8‐10 years of demonstrable experience.
• Ability to develop and build a successful reporting suite and accompanying set of metrics.
• Advanced knowledge for the application of Earned Value Management / PMB / Planning interface
• Earned Value Analysis Data interpretation expert
• Advanced knowledge to Extrapolate, spot trends, conduct root cause analysis through application of mathematical concepts.
• key interface with Commercial for PV, ETC, EAC, BAC
• Working knowledge of Change / Risk / Contingency budgeting and forecast alignment with Planning
• Ability to work with Risk Manager to produce QSRA and QCRA outputs
• Demonstrable advanced working knowledge of either / and Planning & Scheduling, Risk, Cost Management, Change or EVM.
• Understanding of civils design and construction and its interface with rail systems.
• Demonstrable expert‐level knowledge of industry‐standard planning software (Primavera P6, MSP)
• Practitioner level qualification in project management / project controls (APMG / APM / PMI)
• Working knowledge of industry‐standard cost management software and practices (Deltek Cobra / Oracle Projects / SAP)
• Working knowledge of risk management software and practices including qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis (ARM / PRA / Safran / @Risk)
