The HR IT Recruiting Manager sources, screens, and advances qualified candidates for technology roles. This position utilizes a wide variety of resources to network with and identify potential hires, including collaboration with external recruiting firms focused on IT candidates. This individual will also manage a Specialist who performs the scheduling and administrative tasks required to facilitate applicant flow. Our recruiting efforts focus on promoting our employer brand, accelerating the hiring process, and creating diverse pools of outstanding future employees.

Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. During training, 8am – 5pm. Flexible schedule options available between 7am – 7pm after six months of employment.

Setting: Professional office environment (with no remote option).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with hiring managers and senior leadership to define the responsibilities and qualifications for roles, and updates job descriptions and postings.
• Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting qualified candidates.
• Sources and assesses candidates through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communication. May also participate in job fairs, collaborate with recruiting agencies, support employee branding efforts through social media and other activities to create additional applicant interest.
• Conducts pre-screen and behavioral interviews, defining questions, evaluation criteria and other assessment tools in coordination with hiring managers.
• Maintains contact with candidates and external recruiters to provide updated status information on the process.
• Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other key details with final candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related major.
• Five or more years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably with a focus on technology recruiting, including an understanding of best practices, applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills, including responsiveness and ability to develop strong relationships with business partners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is very helpful.
