We are looking for a self starting, goal oriented team player to join our accounting and tax team. We have a small CPA firm setting and provide services to small businesses and individuals. We have a great team and need to add another great member to it!

Our ideal candidate is a high energy CPA or CPA candidate, or a seasoned bookkeeper that can work self sufficiently in bookkeeping and tax preparation tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or sufficient prior work experience
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Outlook
• Prior experience with Thompson Reuters Professional Suite is a plus
• Ability to learn new software is a must
• Open minded approach to learning new processes
• Efficiency focused approach to work
• People skills – must be able to interact on a professional level with other staff and especially with clients in verbal and written communications
• General ledger accounting background, including understanding and formulating adjusting journal entries.
• Familiarity with tax preparation for individual, corporate and partnership returns
• Professionalism with a strong work ethic

• Ability to have fun with the work we do and enjoy the work environment
• Prior public accounting experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
