The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust Hiring for Multi-professional Education Lead Job at Harlow, England Full Time

Our multi-professional education lead role will influence and direct the future development and quality of the clinical learning environment by leading a team to ensure the NMC (2018) Education Standards, HCPC Education Standards (2017), The NHS People Plan (2020) and NHS Education Contract (2020) are embedded in practice at The Princess Alexandra NHS Trust (PAHT).

You will work across professional boundaries to ensure that all multi-professional foundation and undergraduate students on placements within the Trust receive a high quality practice placement experience.

• Ensures the learning environment meets the NMC (2018), HCPC (2017) standards and HEE NHS Quality Agenda, and NHS Education Contract.
• Maintains working relationships with all members of the multi-professional team, including nursing and medical staff, allied Health Professionals and Health Care Scientists and health care support workers within the learning environment.
• Leads the practice education facilitator team to deliver the pre-registration agenda in relation to the NMC Education Standards (2018) and the HCPC Standards (2017)
• Provides skilled leadership and professional support and guidance to practice assessors, practice supervisors and practice educators, particularly during complex student assessments.
• Develops and enhances systems and processes aimed at improving the quality of the clinical learning environment, working closely with Trust staff, HEI’s and HEE.
• Participates in the multi-professional Educational Governance and HEE Quality Improvement framework agenda at PAHT through report writing and attendance at relevant HEE senior nursing meetings.
• Facilitate the expansion of clinical placements, an increase in practice assessors and practice supervisors and provide a robust educational teaching programme based on the NMC (2018) educational standards.

You will work strategically and in partnership with external key stakeholders HEI’s, Health Education England (HEE), NHS Integrated Care Systems (ICS) to embrace and support the learner journey. This will include actively participating in curriculum development and planning, NMC Validation Events and they will lead on any local OFSTED inspections at PAHT.
