Position Overview

Medical Office Assistant (Behavioral Health)- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN Autumn Street
The general office hours for this position are Monday, Tuesday 7:30am-7pm; Wednesday, Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-2pm.

The position is located in Aliquippa, PA.

Compensation

Medical Assistant starts at $17.00 per hour

PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing and two years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred

OR

• Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting

• Previous venipuncture experience
• Previous injection experience
• Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction
