The Pantry (UK) Ltd Hiring for Development Chef – Education Catering Job at Uxbridge, England Full Time

The Pantry is one of the leading contract caterers and is continuing to expand across the UK. We are pleased to be recruiting for Development Chefs to join our Development and Engagement Team working within various Schools across the Pantry Business.

Responsibilities for the position:

· Mobilising new contracts

· Creating & costing new recipes to be implemented throughout the business

· Attending sales presentations

· Occasional travel and overnight stays for high profile events

· Troubleshooting

· Supporting with high profile hospitality and events across the business

· Covering locations as and when required

· Ensuring that service level agreements are achieved & customer and client expectations are met.

· Ensuring that catering premises and equipment are maintained, clean and hygienic and that safe systems of work are in place

· Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed

· A real foodie, someone who will stand out for their passion

· Fresh, seasonal food background with an understanding of modern food trends

· A strong team player as well as someone who leads from the front

· Experience of Microsoft packages (word, excel, outlook)

· Excellent communication skills

· Clean driving license and willingness to travel

Salary – Competitive and dependent on experience.

· All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK

· Clean enhanced DBS will be required
