The role

Stakeholder and Alumni Engagement Coordinators are key members of the Stakeholder and External Engagement Team in the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL). The team is primarily responsible for external communications, alumni engagement and supporting FBL in promoting research excellence.

The role supports the delivery of the team’s objectives with typical tasks including event support, digital communications, liaising with people internally and externally at all levels and general administration. Along with developing excellent all-round communications and administration skills, there is potential to develop new skills in line with team need and personal development.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a changing workload
• Evidence of good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with a wide range of people at all levels both inside and outside the OU
• Creative flair and aptitude for problem solving
