Learner and Discovery Services (LDS) is the award-winning unit of The Open University responsible for the production and delivery of the University’s curriculum; it also has a central role in the design of learning materials.
The role
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Software Tester to contribute to the development of engaging educational products. To be part of the Technical Testing Team as a technical tester service administrator. You will be manually testing a range of activities, for example: remote wind tunnel experiments, supply chain management modelling, interactive maps, historic timelines, language learning tools, data visualisations and digital microscopes.
Testers will work closely with our web developers (Interactive Media Developers) as part of a multidisciplinary team including academics, editors, graphic designers and film makers. The interactive content will form part of our online teaching material which is delivered to thousands of students worldwide.
