The role

This is an exciting time to join the Faculty of Business and Law at The Open University. We are expanding and seeking to recruit 4 fixed term Lecturers in Accounting with a range of teaching and research skills who can make a significant contribution to the School’s Department for Accounting and Finance teaching of, and research in, the fields of financial accounting, management accounting, financial management, corporate and business law, taxation, or audit/assurance.

Skills and experience

• Demonstrable understanding of excellent teaching including curriculum and pedagogical design and development and a commitment to the provision of quality service to students.
• A developing record of research in the area of accounting that is commensurate to the position.
• A good understanding of developing complex accounting teaching materials in English.
• A commitment to professionalism as a colleague and proven track record of working with others as a member of a team.
