Scope of Position

The Customer Service Team Lead position in the Department of Education, Development and Resources coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates educational, training and orientation programs for OSU Medical Center colleagues.

Position Summary

Facilitates New Employee Orientation. Works collaboratively with supervisors and managers of frontline patient-facing staff as well as department staff members. Works as the primary classroom instructor for First Impression training given to staff within Revenue Cycle departments and other patient-facing activities. Conducts one-on-one First Impressions skill assessment and coaching as assigned. Coordinates activities with supervisors and managers of patient-facing staff

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in training and development, human resources or similar field, and two years of relevant experience or any combination of training and experience.

• Experience in facilitating educational programs with strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to lead online meetings with hundreds of participants
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities
• Experience with, commitment to and competence in dealing with diverse adult populations
• Experience with organizing and interpreting data in understandable formats desired
