About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and engaging professional to join our dynamic HR team at the NOC. The role will contribute to the development and direction of the HR administrative service in support of our People and Culture strategy initiatives.
The successful individual will lead the HR Staff Hub and operational delivery as first of first point of contact for advice and guidance, in addition to areas of contractual management, HR policy and procedure support/improvement, HR system support, immigration advice and guidance to ensure the provision of a timely and exceptional service to the business.
About you
Applicants should be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or have equivalent professional experience. We are looking for someone with a comprehensive knowledge of HR services aligned to the employee lifecycle, underpinned by a strong understanding of relevant HR Service systems, functionality and processes.
Applicants should have the proven ability to manage, motivate and develop teams providing a strong vision and direction. The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships – always looking at ways to go the extra mile will be essential to the success of the role. Candidates should have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and be able to assess and analyse challenges and opportunities, whilst applying a range of innovative solutions. The candidate will be required to have excellent communication skills.

Location
This position can be based in either Southampton or Liverpool.
Southampton: The centre is well connected by public transport and has ample cycle parking in addition to free onsite car-parking. We support opportunities for further training and development.
Liverpool: The centre is part of the University campus and is only a short walk from the city centre and Lime Street station. We support opportunities for further training and development.
For those outside the UK willing to relocate we can to support visa applications where required.
